The first issue of the OAT is finally here!

Featuring new poetry from Miguel Manso — prose by Carla Bessa — a review of Archana Venkatesan's new translation of Bakhti poet Nammāḻvār's 9th century epic — excerpts from HOPIN' by Puneh Ansari — a new translation from George Perec's Alphabet Poems& more (see our contributor list, or our instagram)

Your chosen pay-what-you-want price includes a print edition of issue 1 of the OAT as well as a high-quality PDF version. All proceeds (besides postage costs + gumroad's commission) will go to RESPOND: Crisis in Translation, an amazing charity providing trauma-informed translators for refugees and asylum seekers, at the moment with a particular focus on Afghan, Haitian, and Ukrainian refugees.

Copies will ship at the end of July. Please allow some time for your issue to arrive.
